Very delicious halal food, we tried the chicken shawarma, burger and chicken kebabs. The servers were very fast food came in very fast and fresh. The only thing we did not like was the falafels
Absolutely wonderful restaurant! The food"s great, the staff are very nice and it is very comfortable environment. It's so good that we ate here the 4 nights we were in town. We sampled lots of things on the menu and liked them all. We highly recommend it!
Delish delish delish! Quaint little place that serves yummy dishes, good service, and large portions. Very good!
We can't travel without checking out the Mediterranean restaurants, especially their falafels. We arrived a little before noon, and we were the only customers. Our server greeted us right away. We ordered appetizers of hummus w/pita bread and Babaganoush with fresh veggie sticks (carrots and celery). I liked the option of the veggie sticks so we didn't load up on bread. I found the hummus probably one of the best I've had. They do have the option of Spicey Hummus, but we found the regular just perfect. We both agreed that the Babaganoush was too smoky and neither of us cared for it. I ordered the Falafel sandwich with the falafel and other ingredients covered with their green tahini sauce. It was flavorful, just enough spice for my taste. The restaurant was comfortable and clean, and the service was fast and friendly. If you like Mediterranean food, this is the place to go.
Food is really good! We got the Manakish, Alpino Chicken, and the ribeye plate. Service was quick and friendly. The ambiance is interesting - they have a neat esthetic. I wish the chairs weren't just the standard stackable metal chairs, it's very lowkey in terms of tables/chairs. The parking up front is a bit cramped and there isn't a lot of it. There is an open, unlit gravel lot behind it. Parking there at night was a little confusing because of the lack of lighting. Overall I would absolutely go back, the food was great, I just wish the parking and chairs were a bit better.
I was excited to find a Mediterranean restaurant in Moab of all places. I love Mediterranean food So we went after a tired day of hiking, and were a little disappointed that they don't have liquor, but figured if we felt deprived after dinner we could always stop somewhere on the way back. Ambience? You can see they've tried, but the attempts are a bit cheesy. Don't go for the ambience. Food? I was very happy with my chicken swish-kebab. It was grilled perfectly and very nicely spiced, and came with a salad and fries. My husband ordered the stuffed eggplant but did not like it. I tasted it, and found it fine. So that was subjective. Service was excellent. My conclusion is that if you like swish kebab, this is your place. It's really very economical, considering all that you get for under $20.
Overall 4.5. Take-out for two to watch the sunset at Dead Horse Point Lookout. FOOD: 4.5. Ingredients very fresh; generous portions. - 4.5: Falafel Salad with added avocado. - 4.5: Gyro Sandwich with salad side. SERVICE: 4.5. We had takeout, but ordering by phone and picking up was easy.
Wonderful Mediterranean food at this spot just off the main drag in Moab. Food refreshingly authentic and tasty. Had a delicious beet and quinoa salad with chicken. Ingredients fresh, deliciously seasoned. Chicken marinated and grilled - on point. Shout out to the baklava. A classic middle eastern version of this dessert - made with cardamom and orange blossom water and all pistachios. It's not as sweet as Greek-style (no honey), but rich and creamy and delicious. Served warm here, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yes!!!!
The service was fast and friendly! We started with a side of spicy hummus with fresh mini naan. I've never had homemade hummus and it tastes very similar to store bought. Between the falafel pita and gyro pita they were both delicious but the gyro pita is a bigger portion size! They load it up with gyro compared to the three pieces of falafels. Equally delicious and we were both full after. Gyro was very melt in your mouth and falafel didn't leave a greasy taste.
As Ken would say, "SUBLIME!" If you're not a Barbie or Ryan G. fan, then you may not get this reference. Either way, you should go dance into Sultan Mediterranean Grill for a dine or two. There's nothing that sounds more appetizing than fresh, nutritious and satisfying mediterranean flavors after a long day of hiking. We tried their Babaganoush, Chicken Shawarma Plate, Chicken Kabobs and Artichoke Salad w/ Chicken Shawarma. My favorite was the Artichoke Salad! Its dressing was deliciously tart, while the salad was rewardingly filling. I'd say the most well-rounded option is the Chicken Shawarma Plate, though. You get a lil' bit of brightness, a lil' bit of warmth, alil' bit of spice and alil' bit of zest with all the components included (go see photo for proof). Beyond the food, you'll find kind and attentive service, as well as, a well-dressed restaurant that can serve a party of two or ten. Going back? We actually boogied in here twice during our stay in Moab!
